I really wish that I understood Japanese, I would love to know how they came up with the whole concept for Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES, it's a pretty special game. Is there a video of this with subtitles?

@Put1demerede They're ripped from a Japan-exclusive DVD (which I don't own) and I don't think there has been any fan effort to do subs for these. Thanks for watching!

@PlagueNeko In SJ he wasn't God's Judge/Executioner. They were definitely on opposite sides. As for Lucy Ferre, I never noticed the last name, but yeah, it was trying to get you on the Chaos side. It's more interesting that in SJ, Neutral was the worst ending of all. With Law you made a new discipline under God, while in Chaos, you started a dog-eat-dog world of violence and sin. With neutral, you just reset the fate of humankind.

@Yosefhouser I mean Lucifer. Lucy Ferre was his/her/it's name on Strange Journey on the DS. Or at least I like to him/her/it that. I played the SNES version. There was no translation for the PSX version :/

@PlagueNeko I can't really remember who the Lucy/Ferre guy is but Satan wasn't YHVH's Judge/Executioner. Satan was from what I played the unseen force acting as the leader of the Chaos camp just like God was the same but for the Law camp. Did you play the SNES or PSX version? Maybe there's a difference.

@Yosefhouser Wasn't Lucy (Ferre) the guy who wants you in on siding with Chaos? Satan was YHVH's Judge/Executioner if I remember.

@JanusHoW To be honest everyone looks bad at the end of the game. YHVH turns out to be the Old Testament wrathful God, Satan wants everyone to be a jerk and let Darwinism work its course and the main party is supposed to just kill everyone indiscriminately in order to just let mankind fall into the same trap as before. I'm glad that the philosophical and theological perspectives of the series have evolved, as Strange Journey makes more sense.
