The European Voluntary Service (EVS) provides young Europeans with the unique chance to express their personal commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary activities in a foreign country within or outside the EU. In this way, it seeks to develop solidarity, mutual understanding and tolerance among young people.

Volunteers from all Europe who are doing projects in Hungary met at the EVS Live in Budapest. During the day they had a lot of different activities and they had opportunity to get to know each other. We asked them what the meaning of EVS is, what this experience gives to them, why this meeting in Budapest is important and some more questions.

Take a look and have more information about EVS in: http://ec.europa.eu/youth/youth-in-action-programme/european-voluntary-servic... or www.mobilitas.hu/flp (Hungarian).
