@camarotoro if I'm not mistaken, they only made those numbers when they started dropping in ls1s. an early 90s and even late 90s z28 would probably only make 275-295 hp

@LT1HILLINGHOE Stop being ignorant. A Bolt on TPI that means Ported TPI, Stock Heads, 1.6 Rockers, Stock Cam, Exhaust, and a Personal tune ran 14.24s here locally. 90 Iroc if that matters. He then slapped on a set of Brodix heads and went high 13s. L98s can be made fast just like any other SBC or even LT1. Just have to remember the limits of the stock heads and TPI. How do I know? Because I modded a L98 before swapping in my LT1.

I remember when i raced in neighborhoods......either that's one hell of a strong running iroc.....or just a very weak Z28......im assuming the ladder.

@IROCwarriorAMC88 LOLOLOL....you keep telling yourself that, sport. One of my stock LT1 TA's turned a 13.55 1/4 mile bone stock down to the paper filter and 2.73 gears. With just a LE heads and cam set up it now runs a consistent 11.20 @119 mph. A bolt on TPI with "opened exhaust" would never hardly get into the low 14's. I ran door to door with an 88 IROC 350 in the 1/8th in a 66 Chevy w/a 230 inline 6 with three on the tree...that's door 2 door...sport.
