Great to have your Grete clip back and in a notably more poignant version. The first series of photographs give a good impression of roaring pre-nazi Berlin, the last picture adds a brilliant sarcastic finishing touch.

Wonderful but sad also.
All that butch Nazi stuff about saving the nation from decadence... but it all ends in tears.
Same with the Roman Empire - it carried on happily decadent, until the christians hijacked it. The DISASTER!

Well, I see "Fraulein Grete" has resurfaced and is in great shape. Since I don't understand German, I now have an idea why everyone is calling her name. She was some HOT Fraulein!
This Nazi spoof realy makes a point in the last comment, just as good as Mel Brook's "Springtime for Hitler" in the Producers. WELL DONE!
