  • If you use 2 diodes in the first circuit, will be still half way wave?

  • @lolopli1

If the diodes are in the same direction, there is no change. If the diodes are in the opposite direction, there is no electron flow.

  • But what happens to the negative charge? Is it lost as heat?

  • @Dark0Lord7

A charge is both positive and negative.

  • i love this video, please keep it posted. Question, what would be an approximate needed value on the resistor and the caps if we're applying 120vac ?

  • Thanks gurtobe

For an AA5 radio the voltage for the electrolytic capacitor is 150WV, Working Voltages. The resistor is about 1K @ no more than 10 watts. The capacitance for the Pi filter range from 30MFD to 80MFD for each cap. Usually the higher MDF cap is first from the diode. I would Google Pi filter power supply.

  • Thanks a lot. Can you do one one how to understand the use of an Oscilloscope if you can please.

  • @ubuntupokemoninc

Nop, electrons flow from negative to positive.
