What you believe in irrelevant. The fact remains that Mormonism is a variety of Christianity. The formation of Mormonism is really no different than the creation of Christianity which was almost TOTALLY based on Egyptian sun worship which existed before it. The only difference was that the mythical 'Jesus' character played the role of the Sun, or Son who rose from the dead to form a new day, or in X-ianity's case, a new method of measuring time, ie (ad, bc).

Believe me I am not surprised by your assessment on groups like Focus on the Family groups like it but it still doesn't take away from the fact that I still don't believe that Mormonism is Christianity. Just the whole formation of this church makes me question any individual who would following this group without asking questions about the founder and his life.

Let people like him talk...they quickly sway reasonable people to support equality for Gays and soon my gay daughter will have equal rights. She works hard, pays her taxes, takes good care of her littlle daughter and would never harm another person with words or deeds. That's what I call morals. I will pray for God to heal the thinking of this Senator and others whom violate their own religion by condemning their neighbors instead of loving them simply because they don't behave as they do.

Christianity is to racism what the GOP is to Republicans. If you think Mormons are the only Christian group guilty of racism, sexism & homophobia, you've got a lot to learn about Christianity and the blood on the hands of ALL x-ians who support them. Look up the American Family Association, Focus on the Family and the HUNDREDS of hate-mongering groups just like them in the US today. You might be surprised at how narrow, ignorant and hate-filled these organizations really are.

Shows how very little you know about theology. Mormonism is a type of Christianity, who's members believe in Jesus and all the other mythical nonsense that goes along with mainstream Christianity.
'Jesus' is for adults what Santa is for children. If you were smart enough to realize this, you wouldn't be making such a fool of yourself.
