@dmc081 Private money, they do what they want to.
-
@robtran Guy, it's a NEW stadium. Give it time, and it will have its fair share of history too.

total of waste of money they should of use the money on better things
-
I cant wait for the Yankees to kick the Minnesota Fraternal Twins straight in the ass in 3 games. You'll regret winning the division, at leat the Tigers go home with dignity!

wow, that really makes me sad. so much of my childhood was spent at that stadium
-
worst descion u can make, leaving that stadium is leaving the yankees, sports like baseball and nascar are only doing as good as there are now because of the good old days, nothing interesting ever happens now, no real heros, just a bunch of foreigners, or nascar trying to get blacks interested, dont mean any ofense but if they were interested they be there, so i wouldnt drive out the rednecks that built it.

go twins

waste of money keep that stadium
The penultimate expression of our incapability as Americans to genuinely treasure our own history. The new stadium will be a meaningless, contextless, ahistorical hulk of concrete and steel, where no great feats were ever dared, and no great ballplayers ever trod.

I know i wish i would have got to go there it makes me so mad. I hope they leve the bottom deck of seats and turn toe place into a lot of little league fields, so you can still walk were all the greats walked.
