I would suggests for the all educated people to leave that hell hole of a country for the west, but please do not bring your BS with you leave your BS in India. It is always shameful to read about plight of doctors roughed up by an irate mob . Who can forget that over 40 children died in an 11-day strike (triggered by an attack on one doctor) at Niloufer Children's Hospital in Andhra Pradesh, last year? Let other states rather continue observing August 28 as a 'Doctor-Patient Protection Day' to compel the Government to enact a similar law.

This incident needs to be condemned in the strongest terms. The guilty must be identified and appropriately punished under the relevant crimninal law. the jungle rule must not be allowed to prevail in a civilised society. Doctors are humans and any body can make a mistake. No doctor wants to commit any mistake leave alone a mistake of this kind.

As doctors we will always do our duty in the best way we can , we cannot be expected to take a plunge in political tactics or behave in the same way the animals in the video did , just to teach anyone a lesson , as thats not the way we have been educated . If things like this continue and which they will ..I think we are not looking very far ahead when this country will be doomed and pathetic to be even speaking of

I believe my profession to be the best , most noble in the world , but at this cost ? I have friends in many parts of the world ..none said something like this could happen in there country. And this is when India touts itself as a growing superpower and bursting economy..oh really I fail to believe 1 cent of it .

I'm an indian and very much ashanmed to call myself so today .I used to feel proud of this fact in the past , I hated doctors who left India for greener pastures , but today as these things take on a monstrous shape like the one seen in the video , I think those who left India did a good job . If there is no security , there is no prosperity . As doctors we do a lot of good for the community , and if not objectively , I do believe this community owes us something .

Its Really shamefull for the citizens of india to do like this and it is very inhuman act.

As a doctor i strongly condemn this inhumen violennce on doctor couple.

We give 24 hrs a day service to the needy people,if any negligence found law & order will take its action.why people take law 7 order into there hands.Time has come for the doctor community to strongly unity & show these people lessons,they should not repeat it

The towel & instruments are not kept inside the tummy purposefully. Such things happen even in the best of institutions in spite of the best care. Once the layman gets to know what 'towels' are, and how easily it disappear into the abdomen, or how it gets camouflaged amidst the viscera once soaked in blood, they will pardon the surgeon. The theater nurse having the duty of keeping count of things used reports, then the surgeon sneaks again inside the abdomen.
