  • It is very peculiar.. it isn't that he is having any problems of technical issues, but it is as if something in his ...soul..or personality? There is a layer of sensibility he doesn´t achieve.. as if he experiences the music through ..his outside but not from his inside. I can't explain it better. (poor english :-p )

  • @NOSEhow2LIV He is intuitive. However, various passages just sound muddy and more importantly, unreasonable. I don't know what Scriabin was thinking not indicating when to use pedal. Is it really up to the interpreter to judge when to use the pedal? Perhaps that's why there are so many distinctions among all the renditions of this work.

  • HE Is amazing,,,,one of my favorite pianist,,, i hope to see his play more,,,

  • What a beautiful piece, the closest to birdsong that I have heard for piano.

  • @NOSEhow2LIV I agree with you, it seems Prokofiev, but I like it very much!

  • Good fingers, but totally superficial interpretation. Uninteresting.

  • VEry strong, stylish and exciting performance.

  • Very insensitive, heavy, loud first movement and brutal pecked-at prestissimo volando, not flying at all. He's got mixed up and thinks he's playing Prokofiev! Final climax is the most un-extatic imaginable. Try Fiorentino or Friere for the antidote!

  • Mein Gott! Wonderful! Wonderful! Just the way I wish I could play it. I have studied this my favorite Scriabine sonata for some time. He plays it with such ease and wonderful dynamics and clarity...makes me almost jealous. I wish the best for this man in years to come. What a wonderful performance of this piece.

  • A bit heavy handed in the first movement, but it still sparkles.
