@ManofManyPasswords No, if I was calling you a noob, I would use the word. What I did was confirm your resolution realisation as basic knowledge. How you choose to perceive that is up to you, but considering the questions as presented, yes, it would be fine to call you a noob ;) Just don't take it personally, everyone is a noob at one point about everything.

@QuagmireLXIX lol you calling me a noob? That's fine.
-
@ManofManyPasswords Yes, Room 101.
-
@QuagmireLXIX So essentially, having lower res. could be a benefit since it makes the game run faster?
-
@ManofManyPasswords Not HUGE, but you will have better FPS than I show using the same IQ settings.
-
@QuagmireLXIX CPU and GPU are the same. The resolution is different- 1600x900. Will that make that huge of a difference?
-
@ManofManyPasswords if it's 1080res, i7 720 or 740 and a 5870m, it will game the same.

What would you say about the Asus G73jh-rbbx05? It has 6gb ram instead of 8gb and I believe only 500GB HDD instead of 1 TB. But what would you say about it performance wise? It should probably operate just as well as yours right? They have the same processor and GPU.

@acleo454 Well I just chose to buy the Asus gaming laptop instead of a gaming console because I can get any game, movie, software for free. Not with PS3, I will have to spend $50 each time I want a new game.
@dusikas Dude, just so you understand :) My vids are about the G73 performance, not mine or what you figure is a lack thereof. I use a 360 controller for convenience and not the G25 wheel normally used if it meant something. I also race in these vids with a camcorder obstructing my view.
Otherwise, it's a game, "work" is not involved for me ;)
