@connorjjg 'Amhrán na bhFiann', is not the national anthem of "Ireland" it is the national anthem of the 26 counties or The Republic of Ireland, that is why the IRFU has introduced "Ireland's Call". N.Irl is legally part of the United Kingdom we in the Republic have accepted that in the referendum to the Good Friday Agreement therefore their national anthem is God Save the Queen. I have neither drum to beat on this subject nor axe to grind I'm merely stating facts.

@brosnaboy people in N.I. should be singing 'Amhrán na bhFiann', afterall they were all born in IRELAND....so why are they singing an english anthem????
