Mr Sheehan was thinking of buying a Bosch boiler but bought a Vaillant instead because they guarantee it with softened water.

  • @UtubeEmployee3387 it annoys me to. ha.

  • According to Vaillant, using softened water with their boilers is not a problem. Also Harvey himself guarantees that if your aluminum heat exchanger gets damaged through use of a Harvey water softener, he will replace it free of charge.

  • i don't think this huy knows what he is talking about. Vaillant use a stainless steel heat exchange and Bosch use an aliminium heat exchange. Aliminium is a better at transfering heat, hence the reason why Bosch have used aliminium. we all know that water is softened with salt and that sodium is corrosive to aliminium. maybe that is completely the reason why you didnt get the guarentee.
