I still think it is brilliant.......It will take many independent impact studies to get it to fly. They will need heavy lobbying if they want to have a chance. Its a shame to see something so intelligent get shelved due to red tape.

I find this whole thing exciting. I really hope the method gets implemented and oil companies try and use this technology, rather then to ban it. I don't wanna depend on oil the rest of my life. What I'd really like would be for cold fusion to work out. Head to the beach, and just dump water into my tank lol That'd be bitchin'.

@miiwiiplay Kelp is also in many products including beer, ice cream, and makeup. Although, you may be right about using it as an energy source as being far from efficient.

It takes more energy to produce these alternative energies than can be expected from the fuel itself. Oil is in everything, from toothpaste to seven gallons in every car tire. changing our fuel source won't even dent our oil dependency.
