Does the Weaver mount setup require the Scope Ring Alignment Bars?

@SequelFinalNight The alignment bars are not necessary for weaver style mounts however the lapping bar can come in handy in order to get full contact between the scope ring and the scope tube.

@robkcra You didn't get a response, but Badger Ordnance makes amongst the best bases and rings available and they recommend a thin layer of lock-tite between the base and receiver.
