Maybe you forget a thing. Six Italians Soldiers were killed only one month ago. An American report indicated 700 taliban killed by Rgt. Folgore. Holidays? I have a friend in Afghanistan now, but he's not in holiday. Others countries, really, pay taliban, also England. Germans stay ever in barracks, never in patrol action, and they eat and drink all day long. Many newspapers in Europe have an opposite opinion respect the Times....

Little time ago six Italian soldiers were killed.
If I understand your words, i think like you. More troops for police operations maybe is too expensive respect to some fractions...

Yeah you are rite, But they pay them so that they dont attack the workers, who are currently there to build road, damns, and etc. Its just cheaper to pay the taliban off, then send troops and wipe them out, Army operation would just be to time consuming, i mean shit if 1000 dollars can you get you piece and out sure why not.

:) well that's been going on for years now.. Even the Americans pay some protection money to local war-chiefs..
We even had plans to buy up the Afghani heroine.. (If we're not doing that already)
