This is a short clip to see if other users had the same fader movements as my BCF2000. It is hooked up to a mac 8 core running Final Cut Studio 3.

  • Hi!

I just got mine and i've got the same problem!

    Did you find the solution?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

No I'm afraid! I've been told that some are smooth and some are not! It comes down to price at the end of the day. The company I bought it from have offered to exchange it but I've tried a friend's mixer and it worked just the same!

  • mine work just fine mine are smooth but i do have to say that when i bought it at first they did not they were crap faders i assumed it was deffect so i returned it they gave me a new one and the new one worked perfectly fine

  • @1ROSETV

Hi, thanks for your reply. What software are you using with your BCF2000? I'm using Final Cut Pro.

    Thanks

  • @sonicfire1980 you shouldn't! if you open the whole thing, you lose the warranty of it, you better ask for new one

  • the trick is to open the whole thing, and adjust the two screws that are attached at each faders motor. but be CAREFUL!!.. just try tightening them a bit. also one drop of oil at the faders shaft should help.

  • I also got the bcf2000 and with the right asio settings, the faders will run smooth like other digital mixers.

  • I have two of those and one works nice and smooth and the other is cranky. ok.. the BCF2000 is just an inexpencive controller. but it does the Job.

  • lol :D that's cheap

  • I just got my BCF2000 today, and had the same issue. It's not about which DAW you're using, what laptop specifications, etc. It's the hardware issue, all you need to do is to strip it down and belts. I've sent you a video response to create awareness of this issue..

  • Yenz guys got to put the bcf 2000 in mackie mode and the latest drivers for it to work. then it will run smooth!!!

  • That's worrying, Mine is due to arrive tomorrow via post. I don't want to have to send the thing back.

  • I have the same problem with mine. They might be even worse than yours. I am going to exchange mine for another one to see if there's any improvement. If the 2nd one is still bad, I will try opening it up and tightening the belts. The PDF with instructions is really well done, but it still looks pretty tough to do.

  • Does this only happen with Logic, or with other programs as well?
