Well, for starters students at Stevens have SATs about 200-300 points higher, 39% acceptance rate (Stevens) vs. 68% (NJIT), 57% of the freshmen from the top 10% of their high school classes (Stevens) vs. 25% (NJIT), second New Jersey and 24th in the United States for return on tuition investment, a curriculum with significantly more credits and a wider range of required depth/core courses, alumni and former faculty who are Nobel laureates, many CEOs of high level companies, ....

That's all well and good for those students who won't mind that sort of challenge, And probably like working for you. I myself don't excel in that sort of environment, but I have done well elsewhere, I have invented 13 patents at major electronics companies. So you'd miss out on me, but if you run the place Stevens style, I'd probably quit.

I hated it, They did everything they could to make you fail. I transferred out and graduated as an EE elsewhere.
