No Nitrogen! No vac pump! No tray for the pipework! I rip stuff like this out all the time!!! This is NOT how I'ts done!

@chadio5547 Sorry It took so long t respond back. I usually don't ever get replies in these things. As to the quietness of the system, I would be very interested in comparing that. Some older units are pretty noisy, but these newer ones we just got ar quite a bit quieter than anything we owned before. I also see that the aesthetics of the split unit are quite nicer than the window unit. I guess it all depends on what you can or are aloowed to do to the place you live.

i hope still you there this coment from KidLovesMar is good but a question about it the oil is going to stay in the oil traps what if restrict the pasage of refrigerant what is going to happen what can be done?

i ave more to add (ran out of characters) you need to make sure if you cut the line set shorter that your revac the system and check the pressurres as i said this is very wrong its in a nother country with 220 ~ 240 volts and on smaller units you can plug them into an outlet

You know what's odd? There used to be a door in the interior, but, there's no door in the exterior takes xD

in my opinion rounding them is much easier and better, and in the same time u will make what we call an oil trap, because sometimes if the outdoor unit will be higher then the indoor unit the oil will go throw the pipes to the indoor unit from the compressor, so when u round the pipes the oil will be trapped in there.
