On November 27, 2007, Dillard University hosted an entertaining night of jazz. On the scene was Jamal Batiste , The Unorthodox Drummer himself, on drums, Damon Batiste (The composer of this song) on congas, their dad David Batiste performing the narration, Greg Patterson tickling the Keys, Vasti Jackson on guitar and Mike"Bass" Ballard on bass. This song is from Johnathan Batiste's CD "A Township" and is a musical portrait of a South African township. Enjoy.
