Leopard frog or bullfrog? sitting on top of frog spitter fountain at goldfish koi pond

This cute leopard frog or bullfrog sat on top of our frog fountain for hours! These frogs do not seem afraid of us at all. They have been busy all summer mating and you will see a lot of the eggs in this video. I hope the fish do not go after them too much so that some of them will make it :)

Thank you! Yes, unfortunately we do have a lot of garter snakes. In fact, I have caught quite a few and relocated them to another area with a stream. The day I saw a snake with one of my frogs legs in its mouth was the day that I decided to get rid of them (without harming them)... I like my frogs a lot more than the snakes ;-)

I've heard it's best not to kill garter snakes. I love the frogs too. We bought Sophie a bear like Lacey's. She loves it! We took videos of her playing with it and hopefully I will find time get one together to upload soon. Thanks so much for telling us where you bought hers. You're a dear friend. =)

I have heard that garter snakes are beneficial to the garden, but I do not want them to go after my frogs :(

awesome video, but just to let you know, those are bullfrogs, not leopard frogs. leopard frogs dont get THAT big lol and are extremely spotted compared to those guys. bull frogs also have ears that are bigger than there eyes, where as leopard frogs don't
