I don't like silver and gold together, so I say finish with the gold as far as you can go: seatpost, stem, whatever else. And gold chains are inexpensive, and 1/8" chains last a long time.

@noglider Thanks for the feedback. I sort of tend to agree it needs a bit more gold, but there will always be some silver no matter what. The brake arms, handlebar and wheel rims at the least.
