A visual summary of the Zyara Palestine 2009, what we did, where we went, what we saw and how we felt. If you would like to join us on a future Zyara Palestine please contact us on zyarapalestine@gmail.com.

Big thanks go to all Zyara team members for providing endless pictures and friendship; Mike for sorting and selecting the chosen photos; Lesley for lending her voice and Sana for her wonderful prose. Most of all, thanks to Adam, whom without his hard work, this production wouldn't have been available this century..!!

  • @Ikmsk You must understand, that "not recognizing" Israel is not good for Palestinians from the beginning. In 1948 they could take what UN offered them, but they and arab countries prefered to fight the Israelis. In 1967 the story is repeating. If arab countries were not so aggresive towards Israel, Israel have not gone far beyond, like you say. I hope you don't want that this lack of recognition will affect the future of Palestinians?

  • Respond to this video...

The majority of Palestinians are not terrorists, the majority of Israelis are by allowing their government and the IDF/Mossad to carry out such monstrous acts of inhumanity. The fact is that they are the invaders and have gone far beyond what they were originally granted by the UN illegally. In my opinion the UN never should have given them anything, its Palestine, not Israel, and always will be in my eyes.

  • It is a pretty clip, but it shows only one side of the picture, where Palestinians are the good and Israelis are the bad. The clip doesn't show those terror groups which disturb any attempt to progress towards solving the conflict: rockets are falling in Israel and buses are blowing up when there is any talk about regulation. Palestinians must be more realistic and consolidated if they want to be free, to become a country, to build a future... (and Israelis too...)

  • hey. i was just wondering if you could explain to me what the conflict is really all about. I know that im asking you a very complex question but I have recently become very interested in this issue more so because my family member has made a documentry about the conflict and he chose to take the stance of being sympathetic to the jews.. i would just like to hear your opinion. more so because the only people i have heard from on youtube have been really weird,

  • Ammar, what kind words...
