Long Solid Carbide Drills

ISCAR's new family of long solid carbide drills (up to 22*D) comprises drills in the diameter range of 5 to 10 mm. These drills feature low cutting force, excellent chip evacuation and have coolant holes through which M.Q.L. can be induced.
M.Q.L. is a very efficient method to protect the cutting edge, lubricate the machined surfaces, and help to push the chips out along the chip gullets. It is very economical and environmentally friendly.

The drills are made from ultra-fine solid carbide and are TiAlN coated, combining high toughness and wear resistance.
In addition to general use application drills, ISCAR offers drills with dimensions specially designed for the automotive industry applications ­ crankshaft lubrication holes, engine blocks, connecting rods, etc.
Deep hole drills are also widely used in the die and mold industry and for machine tool parts.
