Not Unlike The Waves lyrics

Aurora swims in the ether,
Emerald fire scars the night sky.

Sólstafir!

Amber streams from Sol
Are not unlike the waves
Of the sea, nor the endless horizon of ice.

Sólstafir!

Aurora swims in the ether,
Emerald fire paints the twilight.

Heidrun bleeds the golden nectar
For the rising sun and the moon.
The midnight wolves who watch over the dawn,
The golden dawn.

Sólstafir!

  • @vieri031 And in what way are Agalloch not artists too?

  • The drums should be louder in the mix in this song...

  • live in few months for the very first time, cant wait :DDDDDDD

  • @broodrooster22

Folk elements can be nice such as Primordial. Finntroll and similar bands I can't do unless I am drinking.

  • Oh god dammit! agalloch, come to Croatia!

  • @PhoenixDerHamster If we talking 'bout intelligent you cant even compare those two bands, in Dream Theater we have real artists. But in Agalloch we have great atmosphere and feelings

  • mmhhh.., bleach.

  • the person who dislikes this should go drink bleach.

  • @broodrooster22 They call it folk metal because they often use acoustic guitars and John Haughm uses clean vocals in some occasions, which is very typical for Folk Metal. I wouldn't call them Folk Metal either, more like Progressive/Post-black metal.

  • Why keep people calling this a "folk metal" band? I honestly hate that kind of music but I truly love this band. To me it sounds like a great doom/black metal band. Truly emotional and truly innovating.
