@sjcmeg01 Actually I do not believe that flatcoats are an older breed than the labrador - but they do have some similar dogs in their backgrounds. Flatcoats are a rare breed no matter what country you are in except for maybe Sweden and possible the Netherlands. They are not a breed for everyone as they truly are the "Peter Pan" of the dog world and never truly grow up.

Way behind in my comments - but YAY!! Jet is a beautiful boy dog. I so love flatcoats - they are THE BEST!!! And Jim does such a great job with his dog - owner handled to Group 1 at Crufts - GREAT JOB, Jim.

I have a flattie (in Australia) and am completely biased...but WOW what a stunning boy...he is loved and THAT is so evident in his demeanour. Thank goodness his boss is a devoted flattie man....Congratulations....he is a jewel for sure.

What a beautiful dog! Oozed quality and moved superbly - he looks like he would run round without his handler! Its so nice to see a happy dog in the ring - was he smiling as he ran round? Top Dog. Good luck to to Jet and Jim on Sunday - you've got our vote already, they surely don't come any better??
