LYRICS/CHORDS
Some people have been asking for chords/lyrics. I tried to put the correct chords directly above the correct point it should be played but the description box wouldn't let me without making everything look odd, here's the best I can manage...
I play this with a capo on the 7th fret. The chords are fairly simple, but two of them are kind of weird variations on conventional chords. So the 'root' of the chords are a C, a C/B (i.e. a C with the bass note dropped to a B), and an Am7. However, in the case of the two C chords I take my finger off the 'E' that's found on the second fret of the 'D' (fourth) string. So they're kind of weird open version of these chords.
For the little riff in between choruses I'm playing the main chords at a faster rhythm and messing about with hammering on and off on the D on the B (second) string.
The rhythm and stuff you'll have to figure out, but it's mainly structured around a lot of slurring/hammer-ons on the bass notes of the particular chords and then playing some jangly strumming on the higher strings. Hope that all makes even a little bit of sense!
I'll call the first chord C1, and the second one C2:
C1, C2, Am7, C2
A hush this house, it's growing louder,
You clinch inside your coat against the winter,
But all I can assume is that your pride was on the line,
All I can assume is that you're just taking some time,
C1, C2
And as we find ourselves in other worlds again,
Am7, C2
Another year divided by trivial events
C1, C2
I remember when you turned to me to say,
Am7
'There's always Christmas',
C2
'There's always Christmas',
C1
'There's always Christmas'
I hung up all this sparkly crap for us again,
It glistens in the dark, December night,
But all I can assume is that you're denying it's December,
You are just as stubborn as I remember,
And as we find ourselves in other worlds again,
Another year divided by trivial events
I remember when you turned to me to say,
'There's always Christmas'.
I'm sure that this one beer won't go and hurt someone,
I still can't believe that the pub turned into a song,
But all I can assume is that your pride was on the line,
All I can assume is that you're just taking some time,
And as we find ourselves in other worlds again,
Another year divided by trivial events
I remember when you turned to me to say,
'There's always Christmas'.
can you put it on Ituneeeesssss?

@brilliantinadequacy Don't you need to be signed to put stuff on iTunes? Anyways, you can download it from Bandcamp in the link in the description box if you want and then play it in your iTunes! Thanks for askin'. Happy Christmas!

I usually don't like Christmas songs, at all. But I really really really love this one, it's not like any I've heard before.

Your voice is so beautiful. Not your singing voice (well that too), but I just want to hear you talk all day. Maybe it's because I'm American. xD Anyway, I love this.
