On Photoshop, I create a new layer and do the same soft light thing, but then I make a new copy layer of the background on top it and just use the erase tool...
Looks more natural that way. C:

oh thanx soo much i keep looking at other tutorials and every body else is useing this other photoshop and its hard to find some things on it thanks :) oh and ps im useing adobe photoshop elements 7.0 :) bt it looks basically the same :)

oh god....thats not realy cool ok let me try to explain how to make it really better:
1.make a new layer
2.choose your brush and set it to white
3.paint over the eye
4.choose overlay or hue
5.go to image>adjustments>hue&saturati
on,check colorize,set it after preference 6.you should be done,your eye looks much better than paint over it ;)
Does this work on Photoshop CS2? I tried it and the eye color isn't coming out, it looks really bad and not prettyl like yours :(

i dont know about CS2 i have only used premeir elements...but they are generally the same...
