Is this the morning rush? If so, maybe the yellow sign on the lightpost might say that loading is allowed at specific time?

And is it legit to dump sand on the road without using bags for construction work?

I was a little surprised by the sand being dumped there.

Surely you can't just dump stuff on the road like that without appropriate barriers and all that other Health and Safety paperwork to go with it" Especially that close to a junction. P.S Donoghue? Irish by any chance.. Well the face fits as they say.

and yet there are tossers yelling at cyclists to "use the cycle lane"...
