I assembled a scale replicate poster of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling out of 8.5" x 11" sheets of paper.

  • @martinhozinho That was my original plan, but I ran out of colored ink so I just used my black and white laser printer instead.

  • @jasnikparmar I did a search online for photos of the ceiling and found many using google. I then stitched a bunch (I think there were 4 or 6 in total) together using Photoshop. Once I had one image I then uploaded it to a website that generated each individual page. I don't remember the name of the website right now, but I'll look it up later today.

  • where did you get the sistine chapel in the block poster form / how did you make it if you did?

  • Now that's gangsta although you should have done it colored :-)

  • For anyone who is wondering about the soccer ball: The soccer ball was used as a steam roller to press the pages down after I put glue on them. At first I was just using my hands but they were getting pretty filthy from the toner so I switched to the soccer ball technique pretty quickly.
