A lot of people don't like Disney because it gave them "false hope" about love. Excuse me, but a lot of what Disney said about love is true. You have to be forgiving (Beauty and the Beast), you shouldn't care about money (Aladdin), learn from each other (Pocahontas), help each other out even when the other's being a jerk (Lion King) and lust is not, and never will be, love (Hunchback of Notre Dame). If you ran into trouble, it's cause you ignored what Disney said.
