I profoundly respect her genius, but I don't like her way of playing Scarlatti. I don't have any reasons or arguments (how could I dare!!): she is perfect and her style is very personal. This is, after all, what distinguishes the great interpeters from the very good ones. We can recognize the genius, but we always have the "freedom" to like or dislike it! So, thumb up at any case!!

Even when sustaining these "diabolic" tempi, Mrs Argerich always keeps a perfect control of the mesure and performs the needed nuances, -- seemingly without the least ffort. What a marvoelous performer!
