The govt. wants to restore confidence, but as long as they're doing what they are they will never restore confidence. I have no faith in a govt. that goes down the same path others have expecting the results to be different. There is no end to this as long as Washington and the Barney Franks of the world continue to thrash around like idiots.

In the end the sane people will win but what we get will be a bankrupt desolate wasteland.

Finding Ron Paul has been a godsent, you're right, in every interview he does, every article he writes, every news show that he's been on, he says the same things, this comes from the fact that he is an intelligent, honest and morally upstanding model citizen. May American be infected by just half his good common sense.  In fact I think that more than half of Americans have that common sense, just most of them don't run for public office. Maybe common sense says that we should.
