This is the trailer for the Ladybird Live event on 2nd June 2011 - a nationwide celebration of storytelling events for children under five, as well as advice for their parents.

Poet Murray Lachlan Young will be joined by Andy Day, Liza Tarbuck, Sally Phillips and Toyah Willcox who will be reading classic stories such as Goldilocks and Little Red Riding Hood.

There will be events in libraries, bookshops and nurseries across the country. We have also partnered with Picturehouse Cinemas to host a hilarious storytelling extravaganza for under fives starring BBC radio's favourite poet Murray Lachlan Young live in the cinema and a host of celebrities including Liza Tarbuck and Children's TV presenter Andy Day reading classic fairytales on screen.
