@NMSherwin It's considerate of you to respond to every reply, but a waste of time when you are dealing with ignorant jerks. BTW I think the songs from the 50s are more catchy because they come from a more optimistic time. We are in a period of decline, and it's reflected in the quality of the music. When's the last time you whistled something from Beyonce?

It is great to see the Trio again. I have been listening to their music for 40 some years and never get tired of it. Sorry we lost Dave, Nick and John. I hope Bob is happy where he is now. Wish I could have seen them in person all those years ago. Thank you!

Aaand #3. Music is an ever-changing adventure...the style changes every decade. Buddy Holly and The Crickets influenced the Beatles (who in fact OPENED for the Kingston Trio in England), The Beatles influenced everything from Even Queen of the 70's to Boys II Men in the 90's, and it just goes on and on. And personally, I listen to everything from Mozart to 50 Cent. So don't be a close-minded brat who only wants to enjoy one genre of music. Your kind is not welcome here.
