no its waay easier to strum up n down. just songs when u have to stay at a slighlty fast speed for a long period of time, i might eventualy stuff up, E.g. All nightmare long - GHM

i strum up and down always, it took alot of practice to get used to but its very rewarding, seriously try it and dont get discouraged it really steps up your game.

It's good to do both. Up and down for fast repetitive notes (like this song has) and down for different types of notes.

I usually strum down most of the time because it's more accurate.

i strum down in every song even in shiver or eye of the tiger

i think that strumming up and down is hard. i make mistakes everytime when strum up and down
