Summer has rolled around and with holidays planned, it's a perfect time to pick up my SX30 IS (not quite a SLR but handy nevertheless) again. So have watched your first three videos and it's great refresher and inspiration. :)

Thank you for this excellent, concise and to-the-point tutorial!! I am buying a Canon T3i with a EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens for my wife and I this Christmas, and we're both looking forward to taking much better pictures :) Until now i had no clear understanding of these 3 settings.

To view the Histogram press the button to view your pictures on the camera (looks like a blue "Play" button on the back of the camera). Once you are looking at a preview of your picture press the "Disp" button to cycle through some options. One of those Display Options will include the Histrogram. You should see a small version of your photo and beside it the photo's Historgram. Good luck!
Thank you so much for these tutorials!!! I'm taking my first photojournalism class in college but I had never taken any photography class before, so I was so nervous about heading to class with no clue about manual cameras! :D

Had to log in just to say thank you for your tutorials. I never really understood much from reading on the internet and watching someone on youtube just talking about it. But your videos with those creative pop ups and precise explanation, just made things a lot clearer for me. Now I'm gonna enjoy my DSLR even more. Keep posting!

Great Job - keep the vids coming! I just got a Canon 7D for Christmas so i'm learning everything there is too learn about my camera and photography. I used to be a point/shoot person but i'm seeing the benefits of using Manual mode!
