These are my first Gaynor Minden pointe shoe. They are extra flex shanks so they're perfectly broken in! :)(They look big because I'm not wearing my gel cushions...)

  • @TheBalletbunhead1 How do you like the Chacotts? I went through two pairs of them but realized that they were breaking in to quickly.

  • Hi! It looks good, just try to pull up through your knees. That's really important. it almost looks like you're knuckling right where the toes bend. This is hard stuff! Keep it up:)

  • They look really nice on your feet. You will want to continue or start doing exercises with a thereband to keep your feet strong. You could also alternate between those and a traditional shoe to keep your strength. I wore Gaynors (which I disliked) for 3 months and my feet were so week when I went back to my chacotts that I had to extra work at home.

  • A bit big even if you were wearing jells also this is cinda weird but do you live on aderondek road I can't spell it but it has a pond on the other side of the street?

  • Flat feet?? Me too. :P It makes it really hard to get over the box! Try to straighten your knees also.

  • you need to get more over the box

  • @NefertitiNemesis I have a green. They r new and they hurt so bad!!!

  • When you r on point make sure to rlly stretch those legs to get that beautiful arch.

  • they should not be that big, even without the gel pads.. also.. why wear gel pads with gaynors?? they dont need them.. i agree with other commenters - try traditional pointe shoes until you build up the strength..

  • It looks like they have really flexable shanks
