Carlos Pardo, 33, driver in NASCARs Corona Series in Mexico died Sunday,June 14th 2009, after crashing while leading on the last lap during an event beingheld at the Autodromo Miguel E. Abed Amozoc in the Mexican state of Pueblo. Pardo lost control after being hit by another driver. His car was sent careening into a barrier. After being extricated from the car he was airlifted to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later.

  • Your kidding me right? the type of car in this crash makes no difference at all, the G forces would instantly knock you out and cause horrible brain damage

  • This isn't live, he is most likely a sports announcer for a news show. It hadn't been released publicly that he was dead yet.

  • NASCAR had a great streak going, no deaths from 2001 (after dale) to 2009
