Layon Gray, one of America's new voice in traditional African American theater has penned a masterpiece for all audiences. A Play about the Tuskegee Airmen.
I took my son to see it yesterday here in NYC at the Actors Temple Theater and can only describe it as awesome and information. He got autograph from members of the play who inform him that education is the key and I thank you guy. Wonderful
I just saw this play last week on off-broadway in NYC and it was fantastic!!! I recommend the play highly - the acting was great and the story was educational, funny and touching. This play should really be on broadway proper!!!
I was blessed to see this piece 2 weeks ago at the National Black Theater Festival in Winston-Salem, N.C. I grinned, I wept, I raged, I shouted, and I danced in my seat. I'd seen these gifted griots in '07, also at the NBTF, when they offered another gem-WEBEIME. So, I knew to expect a treat. My high expectation was far exceeded. This story is engaging, the delivery - impeccable, and it's impact - life changing. Do yourself a favor - go see this. You will NOT be disappointed.
