Obviously I am neither Maxis nor the Killers, but as there is no possible way I could profit from a mediocre machina, I don't see how that matters.
This is my first attempt at a Sims 2 machina. I had this idea in my head in a while so I thought it would be a good thing to cut my teeth on. I was wrong. Alright, now that you've watched it and still don't know what on earth is going on, here's the traditional explanation.
My sister opened a discussion as to how the story told in Mr. Brightside would change if the narrator was female. This was what came to mind for me. Things that I wish I'd made clearer: The two girls had been friends since childhood. (hence the random flashback) When the blond girl realized she was in love with her friend's boyfriend, she cut herself off from her, leaving her with no one to turn to about being abused by a family friend. The whole abuse aspect came out of the single time they switched "Let it go" for "let me go". And, in the end, the boy sees her crying, gives her a kind word just because he's a good person, and she changed her outward appearence to make herself look and therefore feel less helpless before she stood up for herself. At this point it turns out she was the one narrating all along, and while she manages to break away from the guy who was abusing her, this reinvention of self does not allow her to express herself calmly and she treats both her friend and the boy she's in love with as badly as the guy who was abusing her. Isn't that cheerful? I know it says Seven Days Productions, I am Seven Days Productions. That's just not my username. Resubmitted at higher quality.

  • Thank you.

  • how did you do that stuff?????????? im so confuzzled and new to this youtube thing.

  • dude, win. I think i'd've been able to tell what was going on even without reading the comment (so I kind of wish I hadn't read it to begin with...)

I've always entertained notions of the singer's jealousy being directed at the guy and not the girl. It opens up so many possibilities.

  • Something seems odd with the credit, but good.

Of course, kind of a n in-not-a-joke, but..... Still I liekd hte use of cinimatography.

Can'twait to see what you do next!

  • cool, but why is a girl singing, oh well its still cool!, p.s. go to "Sydney Lee Duncan" and watch the vid.'s that come up. please post and rate!
