As for things introduced in the middle ages, since Jesus was celibate then it appears that He introduced it. @uncatila you are speaking about homosexuality. but i was referring to the global paedophilia scandal and subsequent efforts to hide criminal priests from prosecution. celibacy, by the way, was introduced in the Middle Ages to prevent wealthy clergy from enacting bloodline nepotism. nothing to do with chastity or Jesus.

@stybarrow1 I do not pick through the Bible as you say nor do I adhere to the false doctine "Sola Scriptura" that Luther invented. Now we had homosexuals within our midst. The Church has always decried Homosexual behavior. Now that society is intent upon praising the Homosexual those priests are dutifully called pedophiles. they are Homosexuals. Chastity is not a vice and yet you scorn it as such. You scorn then the very Lord you pretend to honor and mock His Bride.

@bornnaked8525 A very good question .Not everyone will survive .Only those chosen by God will survive but it does not mean that they will not suffer in fact there struggle will be free as the Ant -Christ and the beast will try to force us in accepting the mark.We in no way regardless of how much suffering is placed upon on us allow the evil one to mark us ,because if we do allow not only we will lose eternity but will get the back plague that will cause flesh to wroth and fall.
