  • Mr.Bit Maybe the issue needs to be more focused on th US market. The US was far behind in the smartphone market. Even the archaic IPhone 1&2 were a succes, but did not appear internationally as they were outdated. HTC brought advanced phones at that time, but not in the US. So nowadays it seems to the US market that HTC is copying Apple and due to the US protectionist patent system HTC and other foreign companies will lose out. Not because they copied Apple, but because of the flawed patent syst

  • @QnA22 i agree with your assessment in part. I do not think i was attacking HTC was I? This vid is a bit old so i do not remember. I think many patent disputes are worthless from improper judgment of the patent office i what should and should not be protected.

  • @QnA22 thanks for the your comment and viewership.

  • Hey, Mr Bit, I didn't recognize you without your head phones ;)

    Another thought provoking video!

P.S. Is your "noir", i.e., dark style of filming a stylistic choice?

  • yes i do like the dark style :)

  • its really Google vs apple..good luck Steve jobs taking on Google lmfao

  • Apple is just another nasty company that's afraid of competition. This actually hurts Americans.

Look at the price that we pay for trying to "protect" American car companies. These motherfuckers shut down the factories in the US and open factories in foreign countries anyway (even though they receive bailout from the US government).

Blind patriotism will only hurt America!

  • Let the customers make the decision, for God's sakes. Competition is a good thing. When japanese car companies first arrived at the US, they were demonized, too. But now guess what, the quality of these cars is not only ranked higher than American cars, these Japanese car companies also provide lots of jobs for Americans. I don't see why Americans should feel obligated to defend and protect Apple. Let's face the reality: American corporations do not care about Americans!

  • @mrbit10 Thanks, no your comments are very neutral. I agree Apple as a company should defend it's marketshare. But it's the governments task to act in the interest of it's people. The US patent office has 2 problems I think. 1 It allows patent requests with very broad applications. 2. It's defending national companies too much. Number 2 is of course the reason why it was setup and especially in this way, but with the rise of other technations this is a dangerous thing for the people to maintain

  • Intro blows ears clean off! :-)

  • one question did u jailbroke ur iphone or that unlock pattern the iphone has it now

  • I still think the real reason they went after HTC was because HTC is the most vulnerable to this type of case

HTC has no patents them self so no counter suit.

While ultimately the case would fall apart in a court, in the mean time HTC needs to bleed money on defense. HTC could conceivably go bankrupt before seeing their day in court.

I was hoping Google would step in to make it clear that you cant do a run around. But they have not so it will likely settle rather than cost Apple anything
