My COM1 cable cannot be connected to my PC (for control from Stellarium). I tried connecting it via RJ11 cable (RJ45 from a controller to RJ11 output into PC). Do I change something in Stellarium and how do I do that? It looks as if Stellarium is expecting a telescope to be connected via COM1 port exactly. Just keeps on connecting and connecting ... without any result.

Hi in polar finder software I was puting 42 deg on the first box (Dec) on the longitude page than was giving me a wrong position copmare to my scope I just realised in this videi you put on the first box 2 on dec 2 on min 2 on sec for 25 deg .as I have now for mine 4 for dec area 4 min box or area 1 for sec area
is this right what I'm talking about cause this way it does mach with my telescope.
Thanks
Refet.

I own a Synscan series. Everything's super, except for me having trouble finding exact coordinates of my location. Any help (source)?

@ParaglidingManiac There's a video about that too, have a look in my video titles for one called 'synscan firmware flashing and more' as it also gives a technique for getting and inputting your co-ords.
