@1973cleopatrajones Thank you. The last big hit that Shalmar had was Dancing In The Sheets. The post Jody-Jeffrey-Howard line up did have top 40 R&B hits and that was that. The classic line up's last hit was the cover of Babyface's For The Lover in You which they appeared on which was a Top ten Pop Hit and hit # 2 on the R&B charts. Plus Jeffrey, Carol and Howard only perform only overseas

Anyone brave enough to do some fact checking would discover throughout Jody's twenty-plus years career she's never been off Billboards charts, covering all categories, except country, and if she did, I know she would be the conqueror, too! When was the last time Shalamar chartted, released a single, EP, CD, or album for that fact? Guess the addiction of Carolyn Griffey to the group was another failed attemp at resurreting the dead!
