I love this company. I work there, and need to say that it's really sad to see it's end. Good people, good products, a company that was born from Graham Bell. What was wrong? Definitely its board. It's board is the only guilt for the bankruptcy. If you look at it, you will see it was only the financial mismanagement which led to this sad situation.
At the final Nortel's day, the canadian flags should be positioned half height.

Nortel paying executives massive bonuses for cutting cost? Cutting cost is very easy. Starting off with laying people off.
As Wall Street showed, these executives are full of shit. Brianless, talentless monkies that are easily replaceable.
Middle managament and below is where the real work gets down. Butt kissing one's way to executive position does not = talented.

When I had a career, which abruptly ended in 2001, and this commercial was released, I used to say, I want the Internet to be an endless source of pornography, because as more and more horny people log on to download porn, more bandwidth is required, more Nortel gear is needed, and I'll have a job...
