I love George Romero's original Dead trilogy (Night,Dawn, & Day), but what the hell was he thinking when he made this movie?

@Leatherbubba He is not just a zombie, he is a black zombie, it is political correct that he gets a place off his own, with foodstamps for the local butcher shop.

First, all zombies follow the same trend of being "brain" dead. This occurs in all zombies either dead (like the film) or alive (like left4dead or 28 days later). The cerebral cortex is dead, removing all sense of the person, all memory and morals etc,and most preservation instincts (In the case of live zombies only a heightened anger centre remains active).
Question: With the removal of what makes you you, how can you remember you? It makes adaption impossible without personality or logic!
