  • Again the organ is good for some European organ style but it lact the warmth depth and screaming sensation as the older organs that each manufacture is striving to reproduce. With the Ar-100 gone, you would think they would have sampled the Conn 653 & 652, Lowrey H25-3, Kimball Xanadu, Gulbransen President,Rialto II, and Premiere, Hammond B-3, Elegante, and concord and of course sample them with and without leslie. Doing this and having that authentic sound would indeed attract more customers.

On my Tyros I've connected a cheap second keyboard (€80) on a midi port and the Roland PK-5 pedal board on another midi port.

It does take a lot of settings to have the sensation of a real organ, I'm still not satisfied, the pedal board plays too hard, I need to change it's dynamic touch setting.

I had the Lowrey Holiday deluxe in the seventies. it had leslie, double keyboard and one octave pedalboard.

  • It sounds like an organ... but even tough it sounds great, Tyros 3 is not one. There's missing something. Ah, I now. It's only an organ for 33%, missing the lower manual and bass pedals.

Why would anyone want to play an instrument that's not finished? :P

Please note I'm only joking of course. I've played keyboards for many years, and Tyros 3 is about as good as they come. Sill it does not equal the playing experience of an organ that gives the possibility for manual bass and accompaniment.

  • Muchas gracias, Johnny !!

  • O.o?????........Muy Bueno...
