omg if you guys love rooibos.... go to purematcha . com they have rooibos powder, just like matcha but its rooibos matcha...its so good!!!!!! its so rare!!!!!!!! try it...i bought mine on ebay , just search pure matcha...its about 2 dollars cheaper on ebay.
Last time I checked there is no Fluoride in Rooibos.
High level of antioxidants such as aspalathin and nothofagin, its lack of caffeine, and its low tannin levels compared to fully oxidized black tea or unoxidized green tea leaves. Rooibos also contains a number of phenolic compounds, including flavanols, flavones, flavanones, and dihydrochalcones.
Hi geengeena, I have actually been wondering the same thing myself. Ever since I found out about the high fluoride content in certain teas, I've been looking for tea that doesn't contain fluoride. It seems like the teas that are high in fluoride only have that much of it because of the poor soil that they're grown in, and the fluoride-based pesticides used. I think teas that are grown in China and India are ones you have to watch out for.... I'm still trying to figure this out though...
I love Rooibos tea but I worry about the fluoride content as this is something I avoid in toothpastes etc as it can be very toxic for the body even in small amounts. Do you know if the other minerals and vitamins might somehow cancel this effect out when combined with the fluoride??
