  • My son Erik just turned me on to The Monks recently and I must confess that I was not familiar with them. I am about their age too! In one day I ordered their LP, a single of Cuckoo, the DVD's and even Silver Monk Time which are covers of all the Monk tunes. I am very sad about Roger and Dave. It is as if we just met and I learn about their death. RIP guys, you rocked on planet Earth and now you rock in Heaven.

  • most infectious song for kids ever (or could've been)! sounds like lyrics Burl Ives would write...love the operatic vocals. very Devo-like, I agree denshiblocks! r.i.p. Roger, and Dave who sent me a sweet personal letter while he was alive. Also got nice responses from Eddie and Gary. The documentary is awesome!

  • @carsiliyim That IS Chris Farlowe isn't it! I never noticed that. LOL.

  • Look at him beating that banjo like a Vietnamese whore.

  • Chris Farwlowe staring at the camera. Lol.

  • No wonder we lost the Vietnam war.

  • Nice quality dude, you rock ;)

  • big influence on early devo!

  • Hey I said at 1:40 and when you hit the time, it moves the video to 1:43 instead! That ain't right....COMPLICATION! HA HA!

  • My gosh this never gets old! Thank you CORDUROY00 for uploading these HQ clips. I just watched "The Transatlantic Feedback" last night with a friend and she loved it. I always get happy/sad watching Dave hit that banjo, he was such a sweetheart and his death was so unexpected. As much as the band hated this song, they seemed to enjoy playing it. Love when Roger starts moving his head to the beat at 1:40....wish they kept the camera on him right then. Ha ha!
