An essential part of GE's For Women By Women program was to center the (re)thinking of mammography and the breast cancer journey around the personal needs of five women with unique experiences. Each woman was asked to document their feedback and feelings through video and written diaries. These narratives were shared with an all-female design panel as part of the research to understand the emotional needs and behaviour around the mammography experience.
